Moise Kean propelled Fiorentina to a 3-1 victory over Verona with a stellar hat-trick on Sunday, bringing his side level on points with Serie A leaders Napoli.
Kean, who joined Fiorentina from Juventus in the summer, netted his 11th goal of the season, securing Fiorentina’s sixth consecutive league win and lifting them to third place with 25 points.
The Italian forward opened the scoring in the fourth minute, then acrobatically flicked home a second just before the hour mark. He completed his hat-trick in stoppage time, receiving a long pass from David de Gea before drilling the third goal.
Meanwhile, Roma’s 3-2 home defeat to Bologna, with Stephan El Shaaraway’s brace unable to rescue them, left the team only four points above the relegation zone, heightening pressure on coach Ivan Juric.
