Cristiano Ronaldo has reaffirmed his hunger for success, declaring that he remains determined to win more trophies and reach the historic landmark of 1,000 career goals.

The Al Nassr forward made the remarks on Sunday at the 16th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, where he spoke about his motivation to keep playing at the highest level despite his long and decorated career.

Ronaldo said his desire to win titles and score goals was still strong, noting that his passion for football continued to drive him.

He expressed confidence that he would eventually reach the 1,000-goal mark, provided he stays free from injury.

The Portuguese star stressed that his enjoyment of the game was not tied to any particular league or region, adding that whether he plays in Europe or the Middle East, his focus remains on winning trophies and finding the back of the net.

“I want more titles, and I will reach that number. It is hard to continue to play, but the passion is still high and motivates me to carry on.

“It does not matter where I play, whether it is in the Middle East or Europe, I always enjoy playing football, to win trophies and to score goals, and you know my goal.

“I want to win more trophies and to reach that number you all know. I will reach that 1000 for sure if no injuries,” Ronaldo said.

Ronaldo was named Best Middle East Player at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, further underlining his impact since joining Al Nassr.

With an illustrious career that includes multiple league titles, Champions League triumphs, domestic honours and international success, Ronaldo’s ambition shows no sign of fading.

His latest comments suggest that even after achieving almost everything in football, he remains firmly focused on setting new records and adding to his legacy.
