An Iranian court has sentenced Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi to an additional six-year prison term, her lawyer, Mostafa Nili, confirmed on Sunday.

The activist was convicted of “gathering and collusion to commit crimes” against national security.

In addition to the primary sentence, Mohammadi received 18 months for “propaganda activities” and faces a two-year travel ban.
