Iran Releases Lego-Style War Animated Video

Iran is responding to US and Israeli attacks not only with missiles and drones but also through a propaganda campaign, including a Lego-style animated video featuring toy versions of Donald Trump, bombs and warplanes.

Iran’s state-run Revayat-e Fath Institute aired the animation on state television following the February 28 US-Israeli strikes that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and ignited the Middle East war.

The two-minute clip has since circulated widely on platforms owned by Meta and on X, attracting tens of thousands of likes and shares.

With no dialogue, the video appears designed for a global audience as the conflict shakes energy and stock markets while dividing international opinion.

It begins with Lego-style figures of Trump standing beside Benjamin Netanyahu and the devil, examining an album labelled the “Epstein file” (sic). Angered, Trump presses a red button to start the war, launching a missile that strikes what appears to be a classroom.

The scene shows toy figures of girls wearing pink headscarves listening to a smiling teacher. After the teacher writes “My homeland is my life” on the board, the screen goes dark. The next frame reveals a pink backpack and shoes lying amid rubble from the strike.

A Lego-style Iranian officer then picks up the bag and weeps before turning to anger.

Tehran has accused the United States and Israel of carrying out a deadly strike on a school in Minab in southern Iran on the first day of the war. However, Agence France-Presse said it has not been able to access the site to verify the incident or independently confirm casualties.

With a nationalist soundtrack playing, the animation later portrays the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps retaliating by striking Israeli and US interests across the region.

The video concludes with a message stating it was produced in memory of students killed in the strike, “who were martyred at the hands of Zionist and American terrorists”.
