An Israeli airstrike struck a residential building in Tehran’s Shahid Chamran Township on Friday, resulting in the deaths of 60 civilians, among them 20 children, Iranian state media reported on Saturday.
Press TV confirmed the casualties, highlighting the devastating impact of the attack on the Iranian capital’s civilian population.
The strike came during a broader Israeli military operation launched in the early hours of Friday, targeting Iran’s nuclear and missile facilities. The attack reportedly killed over 104 people, including senior military commanders and scientists, and injured nearly 380 others.
In retaliation, Iran launched ballistic missiles at various locations across Israel, causing the deaths of three people and injuring more than 170 others.
