Israeli Strike Kills Three in Lebanon Town

An Israeli airstrike on Sunday targeting an apartment building in a town east of Beirut has killed three people, according to Lebanon’s health ministry.

“Israeli enemy airstrike on the hills of Ain Saadeh killed three civilians, including two women, and injured three others,” the ministry said in a statement.

Plumes of smoke rise from the sites of Israeli airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on March 3, 2026. The Israeli military issued new evacuation orders for dozens of locations in Lebanon on March 3, including warning residents in two southern Beirut neighbourhoods to stay away from several buildings ahead of an imminent operation.
