JASON EL-A FEATURES OLD GHANIAN TV SERIES ‘TAXI DRIVER’ IN ‘CONFESS’ MUSIC VIDEO

The multi-talented and dynamic Ghanaian act; Jason Osman EL- Agha, popular known as Jason EL releases the visuals if ‘confess’, and the amazing thing is that Jason EL-A adds an element of the old Ghanaian sitcom; Taxi driver which kept most of us glued to our televisions.

The musical video of ‘confess’ was shot at a serene location in Ghana, this video stars the main man himself, Jason and a fashion model. The video shows that love can be found even if ones status is not equal to his or her partner, as it was the case with Jason. The fashion model who he is in love with, earns way more than he does, but love conquered all, as he was ready to fight and make her happy from the money he gets from his Taxi business. 

Sylvernus Darku shot and directed the musical video, which has a wonderful concept, as it shows part of the TV series, ”Taxi driver” in the video. The family series which was quite popular, showed the ordeals of a Taxi driver, and his everyday life as a taxi driver. Starred by some of Ghana’s favourite like; Psalm Adjetefio, who is known as T.T, Master Richard, Aboagye, ”Pattington papa Nii Papafio”, David Dontoh, and a host of other talented and interesting characters.

Taxi driver is that one series that can be said to be an edutainment, as much as it entertain, it also educates, as the whole essence of each episode speaks to the average Ghanaian. Also it is relatable, everyone in Ghana could relate to the hilarious storyline.

It preaches dignity in labor, and this was why Jason El- A infused the age long series into the musical video of ”confess”. 

”Confess” is an Afrobeat genre. It was produced by DJ Millzy, and mixed and mastered by itz CJ. The audio which came out in March tells the story of lovers, and speaks to ones emotions.
