Julius Malema’s Firearm Discharge Trial Set for August

An East London Magistrate’s Court on Monday set the trial date of the Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema, to 23 to 27 August, 2021.

The court magistrate Twanette Olivier made this known.

The charges were filed after a video clip, showing him firing what appeared to be an automatic rifle in front of a crowd that attended the EFF rally made rounds on social media.
