JUST IN: President Tinubu, Governor Fubara Meet in Aso Villa

Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is in a meeting with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the Aso Villa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Fubara after he arrived at about 5:40 pm on Thursday immediately went to the President’s office, where they are currently having a private discussion.

The purpose of the visit was still unknown at the time the report was filed.

This is Fubara’s first trip to the Presidential Villa since the eight-point agreement was signed, following President Tinubu’s intervention in the dispute between him and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and his predecessor Nyesom Wike.
