The Kaduna Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has generated ₦14.68 billion in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2025, representing a 35 percent increase over the same period in 2024.
The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Sa’ad Hassan, disclosed the figures during a briefing at the Command’s headquarters in Kabala Doki, Kaduna.
According to the data presented, revenue collections rose by about ₦3.82 billion from the ₦10.86 billion recorded in the last quarter of 2024. The increase, Hassan said, reflected improved operational efficiency and enforcement across the Command’s area of coverage.

“This achievement underscores the diligence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of our officers and men, who worked tirelessly to meet and surpass the revenue targets assigned to the Command. It also reflects our firm dedication to contributing meaningfully to the growth of the national economy,” the CAC stated.
A breakdown of the figures showed that ₦5.16 billion was generated in October, ₦3.83 billion in November, while December recorded the highest inflow at ₦5.69 billion.
Hassan stated that revenue generation, trade facilitation and the protection of the country’s economic interests remained the Command’s primary responsibilities, adding that officers had intensified efforts to meet assigned targets.
He attributed the improved performance to stronger internal coordination, enhanced intelligence gathering and compliance monitoring, noting that these measures had helped curb revenue leakages and strengthen enforcement.
The Comptroller further stated that the Command planned to sustain the momentum through closer engagement with traders and other stakeholders, as well as continued collaboration with relevant service units.
He added that management support and intelligence-driven operations by the Monitoring and Compliance Team played a key role in boosting revenue during the period under review.
