A massive fire engulfed Sokoto State’s popular Kara Market in the early hours of Saturday, destroying numerous grain stores and shops.
The blaze, according to reports, spread rapidly across the market, reducing several structures to ashes.
The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, but firefighters are actively working to contain the flames.
Meanwhile, occupants of nearby shops and houses are hastily relocating their belongings, fearing the flames could spread further.
