Kenya to sell six-year infrastructure bond

The Central Bank of Kenya will sell a six-year, amortised infrastructure bond to raise $240 million this month.

The bank adds that it will receive bids for the bond until May 26, and auction it a day later. Kenya is trying to manage its economy amidst raising debt from local and foreign lenders.

*Amortization is the gradual write-off of the initial cost of (an asset) over a period
