Days after the Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party held its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, the caretaker committee led by Senator Nenadi Usman has convened a separate NEC gathering in Abuja.
News Central’s Joshua Imarayi reports that notable figures in attendance include Abia State Governor Alex Otti, Deputy Governor Abia, Ikechukwu Emetu, Labour Party’s governorship candidate for Edo State Olumide Apata, and Senator Nenadi Usman, who chairs the caretaker committee. Also present are the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and other elected officials under the Labour Party’s banner.
