Lagos to host Africa Startup Festival 2025

Lagos is preparing to host one of Africa’s largest gatherings of innovators and investors as the Africa Startup Festival (ASF) 2025 returns on November 28 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace, Victoria Island.

Following a successful Nairobi edition in October, the Lagos stop is poised to serve as the grand finale of the continent-wide tech and innovation series, bringing together leading founders, investors, policy influencers, and ecosystem builders from across Africa and beyond.

This year’s edition will feature multiple dedicated stages, including the Main Stage and Impact Stage, designed to anchor high-level conversations with some of the continent’s most influential voices in technology and venture capital. A major highlight will be the Antler Super Day, a live pitch session connecting early-stage founders with global VCs seeking the next generation of high-growth African startups.

Beyond panel discussions, ASF Lagos will offer Mentor Hours, an interactive segment that allows participants to book one-on-one sessions with top industry experts. The festival will also host an expansive exhibition floor showcasing cutting-edge innovations from startups that are redefining Africa’s digital landscape.

Organisers say the overarching goal is to “bridge connections between those building the future of African innovation and those funding it,” emphasising deal flow, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Over the years, ASF has grown into a key platform for networking and investment conversations within Africa’s rapidly evolving tech ecosystem.

The festival will round off with the ASF Night Festival, a vibrant evening of live music, cocktails, and networking designed to foster deeper connections in a relaxed setting.

ASF 2025 has already confirmed an impressive lineup of speakers from organisations such as Google, Partech, Delta40, Flourish Ventures, Stears, and other major ecosystem players. Key sponsors include Zoho, Antler, Bolt, Trace, and Herconomy, highlighting the festival’s expanding influence across the continent.
