A Singapore court has sentenced 26-year-old Australian man Johnson Wen to nine days in jail for rushing film star Ariana Grande at the Asian premiere of “Wicked: For Good” last week.
Wen jumped a barricade during the event at Universal Studios and put his arm around the actor.
Singapore District Judge Christopher Goh issued the sentence, noting that Wen’s history of disrupting other global sports events and concerts demonstrated a “pattern of behaviour” that suggested he would repeat the offence.
