Manchester United have confirmed new squad numbers for several players ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
In an update published on the official Man Utd website on Monday, the club announced that new signing Bryan Mbeumo will wear the number 19 shirt, previously worn by Raphael Varane.
Matheus Cunha has been assigned the number 10 jersey, taking over from Marcus Rashford, who has joined Barcelona on loan.
Diego Leon, another summer arrival, has been given the number 30 shirt. Diogo Dalot has switched to number 2, a number left vacant by Victor Lindelof. Dalot had worn the number 20 since joining the club in 2018.
With Christian Eriksen’s departure, the number 14 shirt is now unassigned. Jonny Evans’s retirement has also left the number 35 shirt available.
Several young players have also been allocated new squad numbers for the 2025/26 season.
They include; Bendito Mantato (70), Godwill Kukonki (72), Reece Munro (65), Chido Obi (32), Jack Fletcher (38), Ethan Williams (56), Tyler Fredricson (33) and Shea Lacey (61) were all confirmed in new positions.
