U.S. First Lady Melania Trump on Thursday openly denied any connection to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, saying claims linking her to the convicted sex offender are false.

Speaking in a rare on-camera statement at the White House, she rejected suggestions that she had any knowledge of Epstein’s abuse or that she was a victim.

“The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” she said.

Melania Trump said she met her husband, President Donald Trump, independently and not through Epstein.

“I am not Epstein’s victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump,” she said.

She also dismissed “fake images and statements about Epstein and me” circulating online.

“Be cautious about what you believe: these images and stories are completely false,” she added.

Melania Trump also called on the U.S. Congress to hold public hearings for survivors of Epstein’s abuse, saying they should be allowed to testify under oath.

Jeffrey Epstein died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges involving minors. His case has continued to generate public attention and speculation.
