MONIQUE MAWULAWE CROWNED AS MISS GHANA 2020

The grand finale of one of the most talked-about events in Ghana; The Miss Ghana show held virtually, but the beauty queens and their judges were at National Theatre.

The participants were camped for about four months in which they were involved in, a series of activities and event training, on how to be proper queen.

Following a highly competitive and heated competition, Isabella Eyram Abgo emerged as the first runner up in the competition, while Annalisa Ananhfio emerged as the second runner up. Seelasi Penu took fourth place in the beauty contest, and Patience Fafali Gadodo places fifth.

Monique Mawalawe Agbedekpui who hails from the volta region of Ghana says, with her crown, she is ready to make a difference in her society. She also goes ahead to thank the organizers of the pageantry and she boldly tells them she will not let them down, nor will she let herself and her family down.

The CEO of Exclusive Events Inna Party said after the show that she’s grateful to the sponsors who demonstrate the true essence of strategic partnerships, in her words, ”words cannot express our gratitude to our most cherished sponsors for demonstrating the true essence of strategic partnerships; standing by us in a globally challenging time as this. She didn’t fail to acknowledge and express her gratitude to the judges, ”… our amazing panel of judges helped us achieve our most important goal of finding young women who are really passionate about what the Miss Ghana brand symbolizes. Young ladies who are ready to carry the flag of Ghana with pride and purpose anywhere, anytime, forever”

The CEO who was full of smiles as she spoke, also acknowledged all the ladies who participated in the contest, and the team that helped put the show together, according to her, it is not only about the car, nor is it about the cash, nor the crown, but more about patriotism.

 ”indeed the global pandemic blessed us with young ladies who are fighters and prepared to weather the storm with us – in good times and in bad times. They demonstrated that it is not about the 3Cs- Cash, Car and Crown. It’s rather about resolved devotion to a good cause and patriotism”

Evidently the show was a success, even amidst the whole pandemic, they were still able to pull an excellent show. The CEO of Exclusive Events Inna Party testified to this by saying, ” the show was spectacular with electrifying performances lead by the legendary and only made in Ghana ambassador; Okyeama Kwame, The tulips, Mijay, I-kofi, Arabella and Shugalord. Heartfelt appreciation to the entire dedicated Exclusive Events/ Miss Ghana Team”
