Morata Set for Galatasaray Loan Move from AC Milan

Alvaro Morata is on the verge of leaving AC Milan after the Turkish champions Galatasaray confirmed on Sunday that negotiations have begun for his loan transfer. In a brief statement, Galatasaray announced: “Official negotiations have begun for the loan of Alvaro Morata.”

The Spain captain, 32, has endured a difficult spell at Milan, where he arrived from Atletico Madrid last summer as a replacement for Olivier Giroud. However, he has managed just six goals in 24 appearances across all competitions, failing to meet expectations.
