Namibia to Partner Developers for N$420 Solar Plant

The republic of Namibia is in search of developers to construct a 25 megawatt solar-power facility to source energy for its capital, Windhoek.

It also hopes that the project will shore up its energy needs and mitigate power shortages.

The city said in a notice published in local newspapers, that the public-private partnership will include building, funding and operationalising the facility.

The Solar panel is estimated to cost 420 million Namibian dollars.
