Floods along the Nepal-Tibet border have killed at least 472 people, while more than 1,400 remain missing after the disaster. The floods buried homes, destroyed bridges and swept away vehicles across parts of Nepal and Tibet.

Nepal has ordered rescue teams searching for survivors to move to safer areas after a debris dam burst in Tibet on Friday.

Authorities warned that the breach could trigger new torrents and put more communities at risk.

More than 1,400 people are still missing, including trekkers in the Himalayas and Hindu pilgrims visiting Mount Kailash, a sacred site in Tibet.

Rescue teams are continuing efforts to locate survivors and recover victims as authorities assess the scale of the destruction.
