The Universal Peace Federation and PACHE have presented News Central’s Northeast Correspondent, Umaru Yakubu Kirawa as a Peace Advocate for his efforts in promoting peace and unity in the region.
The Universal Peace Federation and the Peace Ambassadors Centre for Humanitarian Aid and Empowerment are dedicated to promoting peace and harmony across the world.
At an event in Maiduguri, Kirawa was lauded as a strong proponent for peace in the Northeast, a region that has been dogged by violence and conflict for decades. Through his reportage and advocacy, he has worked tirelessly to promote peace and reconciliation among different communities while shedding light on the plight of the people in the region.
Kirawa’s work as a journalist has not only brought attention to the issues facing the people in the Northeast but has also inspired others to work towards building a more peaceful and inclusive society.
