Nigeria: EFCC to Indict Sirika, Daughter Over N2.7Billion Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to arraign Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, his daughter Fatimah, and two other suspects in court on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Hadi Sirika, along with his daughter Fatimah and two other individuals, face charges related to an alleged N2.7 billion contract fraud uncovered during his tenure as aviation minister. They stand accused of exploiting their positions to misappropriate N2.7 billion.

They are scheduled to appear before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.
