The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, forwarded the names of nominees for the positions of Special Adviser and Commissioner to the Osun Assembly.
At plenary on Friday, July 7, 2023, the Speaker of the Osun Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun read the governor’s letter to the members of the House of Assembly containing the nominees.
The Nominees are:

Olamide Tiamiyu, Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, revealed in a statement that the state assembly has also established an Ad-Hoc Committee to conduct preliminary screening of the nominees before they appear before the House for full screening and confirmation.
Tiamiyu also stated that the process will be completed on time.
