Nigeria Police Fire Tear Gas at #EndBadGovernance Protesters in Kano

Nigerian police used tear gas on Thursday to disperse several hundred #EndBadGovernance protesters who were demonstrating against the cost of living in the northern city of Kano.

In Kano, the second-largest city in the country, demonstrators attempted to ignite bonfires outside the state governor’s office, prompting the police to respond with tear gas, which led to most of the protesters retreating.
