Nigerian rapper and singer, Victony has announced that he’ll be taking some time off music.
In a post to his Instagram, the artist shared an Xray photo of progress healing, and a note saying that he has just concluded his third surgery, which was ‘a smooth and not so smooth experience’ , and that the doctors have advised him to take a two-month break, which he intends to adhere to.
Victony who is Nigeria’s first-ever Spotify singles artist said also that he has been working on a lot that he can’t wait to show us, and asked that we all stay with him and pray for him over the next two months. He also hinted a deluxe version of his album Outlaws.
You may recall that Victony suffered a ghastly car accident back in 2021. The singer and rapper had been returning from a birthday party when the accident occurred, leaving him in a wheelchair, unable to walk for many months without aid, and taking the life of his friend – Doyin.
