The meeting comes a day after four persons were killed in the north-central Plateau State as security agencies and authorities continue to seek solutions to quell unrest in the area.

Security agencies also say they have been carrying out offensive raids in the north-western state of Zamfara where telecommunications services have been turned off as part of efforts to end banditry in the area.
