Nigeria’s Minister of Justice Solicits Better Funding for Judiciary

Nigeria’s Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami has called for increased funding for the nation’s Justice sector.

Malami made this submission during a budget defence session in the nation’s parliament.  The Attorney General revealed that several agencies within the sector are in dire need of funds to achieve their objectives and effectively implement critical reforms

Malami added that this will impact the speedy dispensation of justice and efforts at entrenching democracy in Nigeria.
