Nollywood Actress Adunni Ade Loses Mother

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has announced the death of her mother.

The actress shared the news on Monday via her official Instagram page with pictures of her late mother, revealing that she battled a long illness.

She also prayed for Allah to forgive her mother’s shortcomings, grant her eternal rest and give the family the strength to cope with the loss.

“With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator after a long battle with illness.

“She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, sisters, and loved ones, who will forever hold her memory close.

“Ya Allah, forgive her shortcomings, have mercy upon her, make her grave spacious and filled with light, and grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus. Grant us sabr and strength as we navigate this painful loss. Ameen. 

“Details of the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. 

“Mum, I love you. May Allah grant you eternal peace and reunite us in Jannah. Ameen,” she wrote.  

Her announcement has drawn condolence messages from colleagues and fans in the entertainment industry.

Actor Yemi Solade expressed sympathy, praying that the deceased would be accepted by her Creator and granted eternal peace. He also encouraged her to remain strong during the difficult period.

Actress Sophie Alakija also sympathised with the bereaved actress, while Eso Dike, Damilola Oni, Rotimi Salami and Linda Osifo were among other entertainers who offered condolences and prayers for the family.
