Troops from Operation Hadin Kai of the Nigerian Army have apprehended seven alleged logistics suppliers for terrorists during heightened operations in Borno and Adamawa states.
The Nigerian Army disclosed these operations via a statement shared on the official X platform on Friday, indicating that they happened between July 15 and July 22, 2025. The operations were conducted in partnership with the Air Component, the Civilian Joint Task Force, and local hunters.
They aimed to obstruct essential supply routes and logistics networks used by insurgent groups in the northeastern region.
According to the statement, “Several terrorist supply routes were disrupted in Adamawa and Borno States, leading to the arrest of seven suspected logistics suppliers and the seizure of motorcycles, food items, fuel, and communication devices.”
Additionally, the Army noted that troops executed successful raids and ambushes in Gwoza, Kaga, Bama, Monguno, and Konduga Local Government Areas, neutralising terrorists and thwarting planned attacks.

The military also said it seized arms, materials for improvised explosive devices, and communication equipment used by insurgents.
Stressing the ongoing surrender of affiliates of terrorists, the Army disclosed that “ten family members of terrorists surrendered in Bama LGA,” and troops on July 22 intercepted “high-tech equipment and supplies destined for Gamboru.”
Chief of Army Staff hailed the bravery of the troops and reaffirmed the commitment of the force to dismantle the remaining networks of terror.
These operations are part of a larger strategy aimed at cutting off the logistics channels that support insurgent activities in the northeast, which military officials have often identified as a crucial facilitator of terrorism.
