President Paul Kagame, the Chairman and flagbearer of the ruling RPF-Inkotanyi, kicked off his campaign for re-election on Saturday, June 22, in Busogo, Musanze district.
He was received by a mamoth crowd of RPF supporters donning blue, black and red RPF-branded t-shirts, baseball caps with some waving flags.
Kagame is expected to be at 19 campaign venues across the country.
Rwanda will hold joint presidential and parliamentary elections for first time in July, 2024.
