Policemen were on Tuesday seen sharing biscuits and water to protesters in Alausa, Lagos.
Protesters rushed the streets to show their dissatisfaction with the current economic situation.
They are also protesting the government’s claimed failure to carry out agreements struck between the two parties on October 2, 2023, following the elimination of fuel subsidies.
The officers were seen in a moving truck giving water and biscuits while protestors yelled “Up Nigeria Police.”
