Raphinha and Yamal Lead Barcelona’s La Liga Award Haul

Brazilian winger Raphinha has been voted the player of the year in Spain’s La Liga following Barcelona’s domestic double victory.

The 28-year-old, now in his third year at Barcelona after transferring from Leeds, scored 18 goals and made nine assists.

The diligent right-sided winger is known for his exceptional dribbling abilities and relentless work rate in defence.

Barcelona’s young forward Lamine Yamal received the under-23 accolade.

Raphinha was close to departing the Catalan side during the last transfer window, but new manager Hansi Flick appointed him as captain and granted him a contract extension until July 2028.
