Regina Daniels Takes Drug Test Regina Daniels Takes Drug Test

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken publicly about the controversies surrounding her private life, revealing that she recently underwent a drug test, a decision she shared in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday.

She said months of emotional pressure and intense public scrutiny pushed her to the brink, describing the period as overwhelming and deeply unsettling.

Daniels explained that she survived the difficult phase through the steadfast support of her family, friends and members of the public, for which she expressed profound gratitude.

After deep reflection, she said she chose to take the drug test to demonstrate integrity, uphold accountability and find peace of mind, especially for those who admire her and stood by her during the ordeal.

She disclosed that persistent rumours labelling her a drug user prompted the decision, allegations she described as false, hurtful and damaging.

Daniels stressed that her action was not merely to clear her name but to reclaim control of her narrative and maintain personal accountability.

She noted that public opinion often reflects projection rather than truth and insisted she would not allow herself to be defined by misinformation.

She described the experience as a transformative period of self-discovery and growth, thanking God for strength and grace as she moves forward with renewed purpose.

Her statement comes amid heightened scrutiny of her marriage to billionaire businessman and senator, Ned Nwoko, following reports of a bitter separation.

In recent months, Daniels and Nwoko have traded serious allegations.

Daniels previously accused Nwoko of physical abuse and claimed he attempted to force her into rehabilitation, alleging that members of her family were detained to pressure her.

Nwoko has denied the allegations, countering that Daniels struggles with substance use. He said he arranged therapy after observing what he described as troubling behaviour linked to dependence on illegal substances.

Sources from the senator’s camp have also claimed that medical and toxicology reports are authentic, alleging that Daniels tested positive for drugs and alcohol at dangerous levels.
