Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema rose into stardom internationally after he released ”iron man” which was on, America’s ex-president,  (Barrack Obama) summer playlist.

The bad commando as he fondly calls himself, got signed into Jonzing world in 2019 which is a subsidiary of Mavin Records, owned by D’Prince.

Beamer was released in February, and in less than six (6) months, it has gotten over 10 million views on the streaming video app. That is a huge milestone and a strong recognition for anybody in the music industry.

Rema is one artiste that is interested in sharing the vulnerabilities of Afro-beats through mixing cultures together. He has received massive support from females, his peer group, industry mates, industry seniors and the Mavin record label boss. Coming out at a very young age, he received a lot of criticisms from people saying he wasn’t good enough, and he was trying so hard to be like Star boy; Wizkid.

He has proved the Naysayers wrong, over and over again, by releasing songs and winner multiple awards. Obviously, Rema is doing very fine for himself, despite being a very young person.
