Saudi developer Dar Global has revealed a new venture in the Maldives in partnership with the Trump Organisation, ahead of scheduled talks between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US President Donald Trump in Washington.
The scheme will see a luxury hotel under the Trump International brand built, with investors able to participate in its financing via digital tokens, the London Stock Exchange-listed company said in a statement.
Dar Global and the Trump family’s property business already collaborate on multiple projects across Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

In September, the Trump Organisation signed an agreement for a “mixed-use community” in the Saudi coastal city of Jeddah, a project valued by Dar Global at $1 billion.
Crown Prince Mohammed, Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler, is due at the White House on Tuesday for his first visit in seven years.
He maintains cordial ties with Trump, having hosted him in the kingdom in May, during which he pledged $600 billion in investments.
Since 2016, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump have overseen the Trump Organisation, though their father remains a shareholder via a trust.
