Manchester City winger Savinho has committed his long-term future to the club after signing a new contract that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2031, the Premier League champions have confirmed.

The 20-year-old Brazilian has enjoyed a remarkable rise since joining City from Troyes, the French side also owned by the City Football Group.

After impressing on loan at Girona last season, where he scored 10 goals and provided nine assists in La Liga, Savinho returned to City this summer and quickly became a key player under Pep Guardiola.

“I’m so happy to be staying at Manchester City for many more years,” Savinho said in a statement released by the club. “It’s a dream to play for a team like this, with world-class players and a manager who helps me improve every day. I want to keep winning trophies and make the fans proud.”

Director of Football Txiki Begiristain hailed the Brazilian’s progress, calling him “a natural talent with an incredible future ahead of him.” He added that City were confident Savinho would “continue to develop into one of the best wide players in the world.”

The extension comes as City look to secure the long-term futures of several young stars, following recent renewals for Phil Foden, Rico Lewis and Julian Álvarez.

Savinho’s new deal underscores the club’s strategy of building a squad capable of sustained success, combining established names with emerging talents.

Having already won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, the Brazilian now has his sights set on helping City defend their Premier League title and push for another Champions League triumph this season.
