Scholz Calls Car Ploughing into Crowd ‘Senseless Act of Violence’

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called a fatal car crash into a crowd a “senseless act of violence” on Monday.

Scholz wrote on X, “Once again we mourn with the relatives of the victims of a senseless act of violence and fear for the injured,” after which he added, “We cannot accept this.”
