Wednesday morning saw the announcement of the 31st annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award nominees. “Wicked” and Shōgun” received the most nominations, each with five.

The event recognises some of the top TV and film performances of the year, chosen by SAG-AFTRA members.

The live announcement of the nominations by actors Joey King and Cooper Koch was postponed because of the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles County. Rather, the nominees were made public through a press release.

On Sunday, February 23, Kristen Bell will host the event, which will be streamed live on Netflix for the first time.
