Senate Committee Recommends Six-Month Suspension for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan

The Senate Committee on Ethics has called for a six-month suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, following her allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Senator Neda Imasuen, the committee’s chairman, presented the panel’s report to the Senate, stating that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan was found guilty of the allegations leveled against her. This determination was made due to her “failure to submit herself to the legislative Committee for the review of her conduct.”
