The Nigerian Senate has confirmed all 64 nominees for career and non-career ambassadorial positions following consideration of a report presented by the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The approval came after the committee’s chairman, Senator Sani Bello, presented its findings, which the Senate adopted after deliberation.

During the session, Senator Sahabi Yau drew attention to the absence of any nominee from Zamfara State and urged the Senate to alert the President to the omission.
