Sho Madjozi has announced a scholarship for aspiring female producers in a bid to help South African women take up space in music production.

The award-winning South African rapper noted that the technical side of music production is male-dominated is she’s trying to correct that by providing scholarships for a female producer to study at the Bridges Academy in Langa.

She shared this news on Twitter. “The technical side of music is so male-dominated & I’d like to see more women in that space.

“That’s why I’ve created a scholarship for a female producer to attend the Bridges Academy in Langa. The 5 month course starts in a few weeks…”

Sho Madjozi recently performed live at the Super Bowl LIV weekend alongside international superstars Black Eyed Peas, Halsey and Diplo.
