South African police has arrested a British man wanted for the murder of his wife and two daughters in England after tracking him to Johannesburg.
The suspect, Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, a British citizen of Zimbabwean origin, was arrested in the Johannesburg suburb of Kensington on Friday during an intelligence-led operation involving Interpol and several South African police units.
British authorities have been searching for Tshuma over the deaths of his wife, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma and their daughters, Natalie and Nala.
The three were found dead at their family home near Bedford, north of London.

Acting National Police Commissioner Lt. Gen. Puleng Dimpane said the arrest showed South Africa’s commitment to working with international law enforcement agencies.
“This arrest demonstrates that South Africa is not a safe haven for fugitives.”
“Anyone who believes they can evade justice by fleeing to our country should know that the South African Police Service will work tirelessly with international law enforcement partners to trace, locate and arrest them,” Dimpane said.
Police spokesperson Brig. Athlenda Mathe said South African authorities will now begin the legal process required before Tshuma can be extradited to the United Kingdom.
Although Britain and South Africa have an extradition treaty, Tshuma must first appear before a South African court before any transfer can take place.
He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
