Spain Invests $947M in Egypt Through 193 Firms

Ahmed Hassan, the Vice President of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria, says Spain’s investment in Egypt have reached $947 million.

Hassan said the investments were done through 193 companies operating in the North African nation.

This came during a meeting between Hassan and the Spanish Ambassador to Cairo, Ramon Gil Casares, who discussed potential means for cooperation between the two countries.

The ambassador affirmed his country’s commitment towards supporting cooperation with Egypt in cultural, economic, and commercial sectors.
