The Super Eagles team has returned to Fès following their quarter-final victory over Algeria at the tournament.

The Super Eagles defeated the Algeria national football team 2–0 on Saturday at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, with goals from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams.

The team, coached by Éric Chelle, returned to familiar surroundings in Fès, where they had played all three group-stage matches and their Round of 16 encounter against the Mozambique national football team.

The three-time African champions are scheduled to hold a recovery session later on Sunday at the Saardienne Football Complex in Fès.

The session will begin at 6:15 p.m. local time.

Nigeria will face the Morocco national football team, also known as the Atlas Lions, in the semi-final scheduled for Wednesday in Rabat.
