The Polish powerhouse has consistently been a dominant force at this prestigious Masters 1000 event, having won the trophy in both 2022 and 2024. Her relentless pressure on Muchova was evident, as she displayed both precision and power, leaving her opponent with no room to recover.
Swiatek will face either ninth-seeded Elina Svitolina of Ukraine or Czech Katerina Siniakova, who secured an impressive victory over defending champion Mirra Andreeva in the third round. Swiatek’s quest for her third Indian Wells title continues, and with her current momentum, she remains a formidable contender.
In other women’s matches, reigning Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina, the 2023 Indian Wells winner, is set to take on unseeded Briton Sonay Kartal. Meanwhile, fifth-seeded American Jessica Pegula is battling Swiss veteran Belinda Bencic, who has won all four of their previous encounters.
