South African actor, Thapelo Mokoena has joined the cast of hit UK police drama, Bulletproof. This comes just a few months after starring in popular South African series, Trackers.
The actor who doubles as a television presenter announced this in a social media post on Monday, January 14.
“The cat is out the bag. It’s our time! I am incredibly grateful and proud to be part of this amazing UK series special.
I’m forever grateful for this incredible journey in the arts. Mission Take Africa to the World is well in progress” he wrote.
Thapelo will, therefore, star alongside Noel Clarke, Vanessa Vanderpuye and Ashley Walters, known for his role in Netflix UK series, Top Boy
The series follows the story of two best friends who happen to be cops, trying to navigate the streets of East London. The second season of the series is reported being filmed in South Africa.
