Three young men have been charged with arson following the vandalism of four ambulances operated by a Jewish charity in London, British police said.
British citizens Hamza Iqbal, 20, and Rehan Khan, 19, are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court alongside an unnamed 17-year-old UK-Pakistani dual national over the March 23 attack.
The suspects were arrested at separate addresses in east London on Wednesday and charged with arson, including being reckless as to whether life could be endangered, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The incident involved ambulances parked near a synagogue in the Golders Green area of northwest London, a neighbourhood with a significant Jewish population. The vehicles were operated by Hatzola, a charity that provides free medical transport and emergency response services.

While no injuries were reported, authorities are treating the case as an antisemitic hate crime. Although it has not been officially classified as terrorism, counter-terrorism officers are leading the investigation.
A little-known Islamist group, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (HAYI), has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack and similar incidents in Belgium and the Netherlands. French officials have also linked the group to a foiled plot targeting a Bank of America branch in Paris.
Following the Golders Green attack, police have increased security presence around Jewish community sites across London.
