President Bola Tinubu has approved the construction of 600-capacity hostels for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja, alongside a new access road to the Body of Benchers Secretariat.
Tinubu instructed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to begin work immediately on two hostels of 300 capacity each. One hostel will accommodate female students, while the other will house male students.
The president also ordered the construction of the road connecting the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District with Nile University.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, September 23, by the minister’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, the projects will be executed under emergency provisions.
The new road, once completed, is expected to reduce traffic congestion around the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
