US President-elect Donald Trump made his first foreign trip since his re-election to Paris on Saturday, where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The encounter occurred on the presidential palace’s iconic steps, where the two leaders warmly embraced and exchanged firm handshakes, signalling a renewed rapport.
